Non-stop bites all day long! That's how I'd sum up our summer inshore fishing trip with Southern Strike LLC in Pensacola, FL. The day started off beautifully with clear skies as I met up with Angel for our 4-hour adventure. We set out early in the morning, ready to make the most of the prime fishing conditions. The weather was perfect for sight fishing, with excellent visibility on the water. As we cruised out, I filled Angel in on our game plan for the day, focusing on some of my favorite inshore spots where the red snapper have been biting lately. With our gear rigged and ready, we kicked things off with some bottom fishing techniques. I showed Angel how to work the bait effectively near structure where red snapper like to hang out. We also mixed in some live bait fishing, which can be deadly effective for enticing those bigger fish to bite. The combination of methods paid off, and before long, we were hooking into some nice red snapper. The highlight of our catch was an 18-inch red snapper that put up a great fight. As the day progressed, we took advantage of the clear conditions for some sight fishing, spotting fish and casting right to them. It's always a thrill when you can see the fish take the bait!

Clear skies held out for most of our trip, though we did see some rain rolling in during the late afternoon. By then, we'd already had a successful day on the water, so a little rain couldn't dampen our spirits.
